The Remember
Project
Wrapup

On March 8th, HELPERS facilitated the last in our 3-part dementia awareness series. These three virtual plays demonstrated the impact of dementia from differing perspectives, from the perspective of a healthy person fearful of getting dementia, from the perspective of the adult children struggling to come to agreement on how to care for their parent living with dementia, and from the person living with dementia. A common “takeaway” from this series was the utmost importance of planning ahead for situations such as this and doing so when one is healthy and able to make sound decisions.
